The wash, in five steps

What happens to a rug at our plant?

Pre-inspection

Fiber, construction, dyes, and condition are checked rug by rug — including a dye-stability test — and anything questionable is flagged to you before work starts.

Dusting

Dry particulate is beaten out of the foundation first. Washing a rug full of grit just makes mud — so the grit leaves before the water arrives.

Shampoo, both sides

Face and back are shampooed with biodegradable, hypoallergenic products. No bleach, no harsh chemistry — each rug is treated separately, never batch-dipped.

Rinse & spin

A full rinse flushes out soil and residue, then centrifugal spinning pulls the water back out so the rug doesn’t sit soaked.

Quick dry & final check

Controlled drying on racks — critical in South Florida humidity — and a final inspection before the rug is wrapped for return.

Rugs we wash

Every construction gets its own handling.

The plant washes hand-knotted, hand-tufted, and machine-made rugs of every common fiber. Each category below is evaluated and dye-tested before any water touches it — and quoted to your account first.

Oriental rugs

Hand-knotted orientals are washed flat, one rug at a time — never on equipment built for wall-to-wall carpet.

Persian rugs

Fine Persians get a meter-and-towel dye test first; bleeders are flagged and handled in their own controlled lane.

Wool rugs

Wool wants cool water, gentle chemistry, and controlled drying — rushing any of the three is how wool shrinks.

Silk & viscose

The most unforgiving fibers in the building. Low-moisture handling, tested first, and never promised a shortcut.

Antique rugs

Age makes foundations brittle and dyes fugitive. Antiques are evaluated honestly — including when the honest answer is a gentler plan.

Kilim & flatweave

No pile to hide in — soil sits in the weave itself. Flatweaves are washed and dried flat so edges stay straight.

Shag rugs

Deep pile holds pounds of grit at the base. Dusting before washing matters more here than on any other construction.

Machine-made rugs

Synthetics take a more assertive wash — and an honest word when a cleaning would cost more than the rug is worth.

Why is there no price list on this page?

Because a price list would be a guess, and guesses get corrected on invoices.

What a rug costs to wash depends on what it is — fiber, construction, size, handmade or machine-made — and what shape it’s in: pet contamination, mold, water damage, unstable dyes, fringe condition.

So we evaluate first, and quote once.

Every rug that enters the plant is inspected and priced before any work begins. Trade accounts get consistent per-category terms, agreed at registration, and the figure you approve is the figure you’re billed.

If a rug isn’t worth the cost of cleaning, we tell you that too — before, not after.

Business details and Tax ID — free, no minimums, no membership fee. Your category terms are confirmed at registration.

Evaluation first

Every rug is inspected and dye-tested at intake, and you approve a firm per-rug figure before any work begins.

The in-plant wash

Dusting, shampoo on both sides, rinse & spin, controlled drying — the same five steps, every rug, with an honest timeline set at intake.

Return under your name

Wrapped, delivered on route or held for your driver, and invoiced to your account. Your client never hears our name.

Who qualifies for a wholesale rug cleaning account?

Established businesses that handle rugs for their own clients: oriental rug dealers, interior designers, furniture stores, property managers, on-location carpet cleaners, dry cleaners, home cleaning services, and restoration companies. A Tax ID is required — wholesale terms are for businesses only.

Will you ever contact our clients directly?

No. Trade work is blind: your company stays the face of the job from pickup to delivery. We wash the rug, you keep the relationship.

How does rug pickup work across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach?

We run pickup and delivery routes across all three counties, and you can drop rugs at the Fort Lauderdale plant Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm. Route timing and any transport fee are confirmed when you schedule. City-by-city notes are on the service coverage page.

Why don’t you publish a wholesale price sheet?

Rugs aren’t uniform, and condition changes the work. Every rug is evaluated first, then your account gets a firm per-rug figure before any work begins. No surprises on the invoice.

How fast is turnaround for trade work?

Most rugs are ready in about a week to ten days. Specialty pieces — silk, bleeders, mold, heavy pet contamination — can take longer, and we tell you at intake, not after.

Can you handle silk, viscose, antique, and problem rugs?

Yes — that’s the point of a dedicated plant. Every specialty piece starts with a dye-stability test before any water touches it. If a rug can’t be safely washed, we tell you before work begins.

What if a rug isn’t worth cleaning?

We say so. If cleaning would cost more than the rug is worth, or the piece can’t survive a wash, you get that answer up front so you can advise your client honestly.
